The future is digital with Digital Platforms
Having developed one of South Africa’s biggest publishing networks with the Caxton Local News Media Network, software solutions development company, Digital Platforms, boasts a team of highly skilled and driven employees who create smart solutions to everyday problems.
Though times may change, the core focus of Digital Platforms remains the needs of its clients’ customers. Located in the heart of South Africa, as a subsidiary of Central Media Group, this dynamic company continues to catch the eyes of businesses across the country and never fails to meet their digital and marketing needs.
Since its inception Digital Platforms have been of service to companies in Gauteng that have been impressed by the digital solutions “a business in Bloemfontein” came up with. These particular companies were also impressed by the level of skill “hiding in Bloemfontein”.
The company has created a few apps for SAB as well as the tourism portal for Qatar for the 2022 Soccer World Cup and worked with some of the biggest agricultural companies in the country, which include OVK, GWK , Nurti Feeds and Senwes.
With a total of 80 years of joint experience in software and web development, 30 years in design and 6 years in social media marketing, clients can rest assured that Digital Platforms will come up with a solution that is tailor made for their business.
Mitzi Noome, who is currently the sales manager at Digital Platforms, joined the team 23 days before SA went into its first Lockdown in March 2020.
She explains her experience: “I thought to myself, ‘how am I going to see clients and learn about my new position?’ Fortunately we were able to adapt rather quickly with digital meetings, and with our team being able to work from home, it was business as usual.
“This proved to be perfect timing for me, as many existing and new businesses contacted us to go digital. Some of the solutions we developed, included paperless screening software, that we use at our own company, which allows employees to go to work in a safe environment knowing everyone has been screened and the HR department can view or draw reports at any given time.
“We also developed an online auction system which is a huge success with clients and keeps their auctions active during all the lockdown levels. There is also a task app, which allows businesses/managers that are unable to travel to their areas, to receive up to date feedback from stores. Upon joining Digital Platforms, I was truly blown away by the solutions and skill that the team is capable of.
“Digital Platforms looks forward to the future with great excitement. They say the future is digital, which is an exciting space that allows us to help businesses evolve and keep up with the ever changing times,” concluded Noome.
