How to setup my POP 3 account in Outlook 2010 account
Follow the steps below to setup your Outlook 2010:
1. Open Outlook
2. Click on file
3. Click on “Add Account”
4. Fill in your personal details (or the details you want to display on your received emails)
5. Click “Manually Configure”
6. Select “Internet E-mail” and click next
7. Fill in your personal details & make sure you selected a POP3 account
8. Fill in your personal details and make sure you selected a POP3 account
Incoming mail server: You will get this with your email account and password from your new Email provider
Outgoing mail server: This you will get from your ISP – Internet Service Provider
These are a few examples:
Vodacom: smtp.vodacom.co.za or smtp.vodamail.co.za
MTN 3G: mail.mtn.co.za or smtp.mtn.co.zaCell-C: mail.cmobile.co.za
iBurst: smtp.iburst.co.za
Telkom: smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net or mail.saix.net or smtp.saix.net
9. Click next and then finish
